23. Ramzan Quiz

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاتة

بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِٱلرَّحِيمِ

23. Who will be raised as a blind person on the Day of Resurrection?

Answer: Allah says: "Whoever turns away from My reminder  (Quran), for him is a life of hardship and we shall raise him on the day of resurrection, blind. [20:124].

Life of hardship means:

He will have no tranquility;

Due to misguidance his chest will be constrained;

He will have outward comforts, but have no inner peace;

He will be in agitation, bewilderment and doubt;

He will be in confusion, in a state of uncertainty.

He will be raised on the day of resurrection, blind.

Allah says in another place, “And he whom Allah guides, he is led aright; but he whom He sends astray for such you will find no Auliya’ (helpers and protectors, etc.), besides Him, and We shall gather them together on the Day of Resurrection on their faces, blind, dumb and deaf, their abode will be Hell; [17:97].

Quran continues:

That person will ask: "My Lord! why have You raised me blind, while I had sight [before]?" [20:125]

(Allah Subhanahuthala) will say: "Even so, ‘Our’ Ayath came to you but you neglected them; and so this day you will be neglected." [20:126].

"And thus do We recompense him who is extravagant and does not believe in the communications of his Lord, and certainly the punishment of the Hereafter is severer and long lasting" [20:127]

So to avoid this Allah Subhanahuthala guides us to pray:

“To be patient and glorify the praises of your Lord before the rising of the sun, and before its setting, and during some of the hours of the night, and at the sides of the day (the five compulsory congregational prayers), that you may become pleased with the reward which Allah shall give you.” [20:130]

الحمدلله
