13. On the Resurrection Day the Allah سبحانه وتعالىٰ grouped all the mankind into:

               a) believers & non-believers

               b) right hand group & left hand group

               c) groups of three

               d) groups according to their sins.

 

The most appropriate answer is: In groups of three. (Al-Waqiah, 56:7-11).

"And you will be divided into three classes. Companions of the right hand. Oh, how (fortunate) shall be the Companions of the right hand! And the Companions of the left hand. Oh, how (unfortunate) shall be the Companions of the left hand! And the foremost shall still be the foremost. They will be nearest to Allah." (56:7-11)

To obtain the supreme success of these two groups of the people must know the qualification. The first qualification is their belief on their Creator. Second is to do good righteous deeds. Allah has informed them in surah Ar-Rum

The third qualification is the good deeds must outweigh the bad deeds. If good deeds are more on that day his record will be given in his right hand. Those who get their record in the left hand he will invoke his own destruction and made to taste the burning fire (84:6-12).

And the final qualification is pleasing and satisfying Allah by their deeds and by sacrificing their life, spending most of their time to Allah. Those who embrace Islam with first call, those who are first in their prayers, Prophets, Shaheeds and even those who are teaching Islam spending their whole life, obtain high rank over than those right hand group. They will be the fore most, Allah سبحانه وتعالىٰ called them as "Sabikhoon."

A multitude of these foremost will be from the first generation of Muslims who underwent lot of trials for their belief and few from the later generations. They will be raised as top rankers in the Paradise.

"And those foremost [(in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islam,] will be foremost (in Paradise). These will be those nearest to Allah. In the Gardens of delight (Paradise). A multitude of those (fore-most) will be from the first generations (who embraced Islam). And a few of those (foremost) will be from the later time (generations)." (56:10-14)
