A true guidance and kindness
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاتة

The Prophet's (SAW) concern over humanity
The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) described a person who lit a fire. By its brightness moths and other insects were attracted to it. The person tried to keep them away, but they continued rushing towards the flames and destroyed themselves.
The Prophet Mohammad (SAW) conveyed Allah’s message with compassion, patience, and sincerity. He guided people towards straight path for their goodself and warned them against paths that lead to destruction. Yet, just as insects may be drawn towards a dangerous flame, people can be attracted to desires, temptations, and worldly pleasures without recognising the harm that lies ahead.
The heartbreaking dispute between two mothers
Two women, an elder and younger ones, each had a boy baby. Oneday a wolf came and took away a baby. The two women disputed over the surviving baby, each claiming that the baby was hers. They took their case to Prophet Dawud (AS), the then ruling king. After hearing their dispute he gave a judgement to handover the baby to elder woman.
Not satisfying with that judgement, they took the case to Dawud's (AS) wisest son Sulaiman (AS). After carefully listening to them, he ordered a soldier to bring a sword. He asked to cut the baby into two and give each one half to each of them. On hearing this the older mother agreed and younger mother started crying immediately and pleading to Sulaiman (AS), not to do so, but give that baby to elder woman, as the child belonged to her. Willingness of younger woman to sacrifice the child revealed the depth of her genuine maternal love - an act of protecting his son's life.
Sulaiman (AS)'s proposal made the truth come out. He understands the feeling of a genuine mother. He also recognoze the sacrifice of a true mother, her love, her anxiety to protect her son from harm. So he told to handover the child to younger woman. This is an example of extradinary wisdom of Sulaiman (AS) in his judgement a gift given by his Lord.
In the majestic Quran Allah Subhanahuthala proclaimed, “And We gave knowledge to Dawud (AS) and Sulaiman (AS), and they said, ‘Praise be to Allah, who has favoured us over many of His believing servants.’” [Surah An-Naml, 27:15]
Wisdom is not simply to know many things. During decision making, a knowledgeable person must understand the feeling of persons, recognise the matter that is most important.
Lesson to be learnt from this hadith:
★ Recognise danger when something appears attractive.
★ Knowledge and intelligence are blessings.
★ Be humble and praise Him.
★ With His guidance, use your abilities in ways that pleases Allah
★ True love involves sacrifice.
★ Recognize a person's sacrifice.
★ Justice requires discernment.
★ We should not rush to judge disputes based solely on competing claims. We must seek the truth fairly and carefully.
Prayer:
May Allah grant us beneficial knowledge, wisdom in our decisions, compassion towards His creation, and the ability to distinguish truth from falsehood! Aameen!
