Performing Hajj for others

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاتة

بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِٱلرَّحِيمِ

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas (RA) said: “A man came to the Prophet (SAW) and said: ‘Shall I perform Hajj on behalf of my father?’ He said: ‘Yes, perform Hajj on behalf of your father, for if you cannot add any good to his record (at least) you will not add anything bad.’” [Sunan Ibn Majah, 2904]
