[3:33]. Allah chose Adam (AS), Nuh (AS), the family of Ibrahim (AS) and the family of Imran above the nations. [3:33]. This verse was revealed when 60 Christian delegates from Najran visited Madhina.
Allah chose Adam (AS), created him with His Hand and blew life into him. Allah commanded the angels to prostrate before Adam (AS), taught him the names of everything and allowed him to dwell in Paradise, but then sent him down from it out of His wisdom.
Allah chose Nuh (AS) and made him the first Messenger to the people of the earth, when the people worshipped idols and associated others with Allah in worship. Allah avenged the way Nuh (AS) was treated, for he kept calling his people day and night, in public and in secret, for a very long time. However, his calling them only made them shun him more, and this is when Nuh (AS) supplicated against them. So Allah caused them to drown, and none among them was saved, except those who followed the religion that Allah sent to Nuh (AS).
Allahuthala also chose the house hold of Ibrahim (AS) by giving them:
● He selected them and guided them in a right path.
● made them pious and work righteousness.
● provided them good provision in plenty with Our Mercy
● purified them and gave good manners;
●made them patient and enduring;
●made to fulfill the command of Allahuthala;
● repent and ask
forgiveness
● When the
Verses of Allah were recited unto them, they fell down, prostrating and
weeping;
● they enjoined on their
family and people As-Salath and the Zakath,
● gave Prophet hood
to many of his offspring. Ismail (AS), Ishaq (AS), Yaqub (AS), Yusuf (AS),
Ayyub (AS), Musa (AS), Harun (AS) and the Final Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
● taught the Scriptures;
● through some Allah revealed Scriptures;
● granted them honour in both the worlds;
● his Lord was pleased with most of them;
● promised Adn Paradise (everlasting Gardens) and made
them enter and lived forever.
● Apart from these known Prophets there are so many
righteous people from the family were selected to guide jinn and human kind and
send them all to teach deen and reform the world.
Allah also chose the household of Imran, his wife, his
daughter, Marium bint Imran, the mother of Isa (AS).
★ the wife of 'Imran vowed to Allah her child in her womb to be dedicated for His services (3:35);
★ but she delivered a female
child and named her Marium and sought refuge with Allah for her and for her
offspring from Shaitan, the outcast. (3:36);
★ Allah accepted her with goodly
acceptance. (3:37);
★ Allah made her grow in a good
manner under the care of Zakariya and Allah provides sustenance to whom He
wills, without limit. (3:38);
★ Allah purified and chosen her
above the women of the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns) (3:42);
★ Commanded to submit herself
with obedience to Allah, by worshipping none but Him Alone and prostrating and bowing
down (3:43);
★ the angels gave her the glad
tidings of Messiah Isa the son of Marium who was created by a Word
"Be!" - and he was! i.e. (Mary)] from Him, a name held in honour in
this world and in the Hereafter, and will be one of those who are near to
Allah."
★"He will speak to the
people in the cradle and in manhood, and he will be one of the righteous."
(3:46);
★ taught him the Book and
Al-Hikmah, the Taurath and the Injeel (3:48);
★ And made him ['Isa (AS)] a
Messenger to the Children of Israel (saying): "I have come to you with a
sign from your Lord, that I design for you out of clay, as it were, the figure
of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah's Leave; and I
heal him who was born blind, and the leper, and I bring the dead to life by
Allah's Leave. And I inform you of what you eat, and what you store in your
houses. Surely, therein is a sign for you, if you believe; And I have come
confirming that which was before me of the Taurat (Torah), and to make lawful
to you part of what was forbidden to you, and I have come to you with a proof
from your Lord. So fear Allah and obey me”; Truly! Allah is my Lord and your
Lord, so worship Him (Alone). This is the Straight Path. (3: 49 to 51)
★ Allah raised him you to Himself
and make clear [of the forged statement that 'Isa (AS) is Allah's son] to those who disbelieve, and those who followed him superior than those
who disbelieve till the Day of Resurrection. (3:55);
★ the likeness of 'Isa (AS) before
Allah is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him:
"Be!" - and he was. (3:59).
