Q-5

                                Ramzan Quiz

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاتة

بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِٱلرَّحِيمِ

6. And a believing man of Firaun’s family, who hid his faith said: “Would you kill a man because he says: My Lord is Allah, and he has come to you with clear signs from your Lord? (40:28). Who is he?

This believing man was a Egyptian belonging to Pharah's family, a paternal cousin of Firaun. He concealed his Faith from his people, till a day when Firaun said, "Leave me to kill Musa (AS)"

He asked, "Would you kill a man because he says: My Lord is Allah? He further explained, "If Musa (AS) is a liar, upon him will be his lie; but if he is telling the truth, some calamity he threatens will befall on you. So you should leave him and his people alone, and not harm them."

He continued, "Allah has blessed you with this kingdom, dominance in the land, power and authority, so take care of this blessing by giving thanks to Allah and believing in his Messenger, and beware of the punishment of Allah." He thus spoke as if he also belonged to Pharaoh’s side, and was only wishing his people well.

Firaun said to his people, in response to this advice of "I only tell you and advise you to do that which I think is good for myself.' But Firaun has fabricated a lie. He betrayed Allah and His Messenger, and cheated his people by not advising them sincerely. The evil of his deeds has hindered from the Right Path, and the plot of Fir’aun led to nothing but loss and destruction for them.

But when Pharaoh and his courtiers behaved stubbornly, he disclosed the secret of his belief. He said: “O my people! Follow me, I will guide you to the way of right conduct. This life of the world is nothing but a enjoyment, but Hereafter is the eternal home. The righteous believer will enter Paradise." He called them to salvation. He invited them to the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving as our return will be to Allah.

Finally he addressed them, "I am telling you, and my affair I leave it to Allah. Verily, Allah is the All-Seer of (His) slaves.” So Allah saved him from the evils that they plotted (against him), while an evil torment encompassed Fir’aun’ people.

He was the best example of hadith which says, "The best of Jihad is to speak a just word before an unjust ruler." He was the one who was saved along with Musa, (AS)

الحمدلله
