6. What are the various types of Jannah mentioned in
Al-Quran?
The various types of Jannah are arranged as layers
on above the other. The highest layer is the Jannathul Firdaus. Let us see what
Quran mentions about these Jannah:
1. Jannatul Rowzath:
“while those who believe and do righteous deeds
(will be) in the flowering meadows of the Gardens (رَوْضَاتِ الْجَنَّاتِ) having what they wish from their Lord. That is the supreme
Grace.” (42:22).
2. Jannathul Aliya:
“So he shall
be in a life, well-pleasing. In a lofty Paradise. (جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَة) The fruits in bunches whereof will be low and near at hand.” (69:21-23).
“Where they
shall neither hear harmful speech nor falsehood” (88:10).
3. Jannthul Adn:
“Allah has
promised to the believers - men and women, - Gardens under which rivers flow to
dwell therein forever, and beautiful mansions in Gardens of 'Adn (جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ). But the greatest bliss is the Good
Pleasure of Allah. That is the supreme success.” (9:72).
“Adn
Paradise (ever lasting Gardens), which they shall enter and those who acted
righteously from among their fathers, and their wives, and their offspring. And
angels shall enter unto them from every gate (saying): "Salamun Alaikum
for that you persevered in patience! Excellent indeed is the final home!" (13:23).
“They will
have therein all that they wish.” (16:31).
“Wherein rivers flow underneath them, therein they
will be adorned with bracelets of gold, and they will wear green garments of
fine and thick silk. They will recline therein on raised thrones.” (18:31).
“They shall not hear therein any Laghw (dirty,
false, evil vain talk), but only Salam.
And they will have therein their sustena- nce, morning & afternoon.”
(19:61).
4. Jannathul Firdaus:
“Verily!
Those who believe & do righteous deeds, shall have the Gardens of
Al-Firdaus or their entertainment.” (18:107).
5. Jannathul Mawa:
“Near
Sidrat- ul-Muntaha is the (جَنَّةُ
الْمَأْوَىٰ) Paradise of Abode.” (53:14 &15)
“As for those who believe and do good, they will
have the Gardens of Eternal Residence - as an accommodation for what they used
to do.” (32:19)
6. Jannathul Nayeem:
“And make me
one of the inheritors of the (جَنَّةِ
النَّعِيمِ) Paradise of Delight.” (This is the prayer if Ibrahim {AS}).”
(26:85).
“(There is
for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise).” (56:89)
“Does every
man of them hope to enter the Paradise of delight?” (70:38)
"If
only the people of the Scripture had believed (in Muhammad ﷺ) and warded off evil and had
become
pious, We would indeed have blotted out their sins and admitted them to the
Gardens of pleasure.” (5:65).
“Under them will flow rivers in the Gardens of delight” (10:9)
7. Jannathul Khuld:
“Say: (O
Muhammad ﷺ) "Is that (torment) better or the
Paradise of Eternity (جَنَّةُ الْخُلْدِ) promised to
the pious. It will be theirs as a reward and as a final destination.” (25:15)
8. Dhar-us-Salam
“For them
will be the home of peace (دَارُ
السَّلَامِ) (Paradise) with their Lord.” (6:127)
Prayer: [اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ] “O Allah, I ask You for Paradise". Jannah itself will pray to Allah to admit the person
to Jannah. Anas bin Malik (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever
asks Allah Subhanahuthala Paradise three times, Paradise says: ‘O Allah, admit
him into Paradise’,
